Baked Buffalo Chicken Tenders (Paleo/Whole30)

Whole30 buffalo craven tenders just require ten ingredients and 30 minutes to make. They are double breaded with simple ingredients you probably already accept on paw and then broiled in the oven, making them a good for you alternative to your typical fried version. There are a few steps to brand the breading and get everything set up up, just once yous have your assembly line ready, it is easy sailing and they come together quickly.

Here is what y'all need:

  • craven tenders
  • coconut flour
  • eggs
  • hots sauce
  • cashews
  • shredded coconut
  • chili powder
  • paprika
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper

First showtime out by making your breading. In a high powdered blender, add together your cashews and pulse until coarsely basis. You don't desire a fine flour, but all the same want some texture to the mixture – most will be ground, just you desire some texture with minor pieces of basics in in that location. This volition add crunch to your breading.

Mix together the footing cashews, shredded coconut, spices, and table salt and pepper on a plate. Next brand your egg wash. Whisk together your eggs and hot sauce until combined. Then step up all your associates line – have your egg wash in one bowl, your coconut flour in some other, and your breading on a plate.

Staff of life the craven by rolling it in the kokosnoot flour to fully cover. And then dip information technology in the egg wash mixture, fully coating. Finally gyre in the cashew and coconut breading, making sure to fully glaze. Place on a parchment paper lined blistering sheet and repeat with the remaining chicken.

Substitutions for Buffalo Chicken Tenders

This recipe is pretty directly forwards and can be inverse upward to your liking. Here are a few suggestions I take:

  • craven – if you can't find chicken tenders, you tin can as well employ craven breast that you lot just cut into strips (I've washed this plenty of times in the past).
  • nuts – I likes using cashews since they are pretty neutral in flavor, just you can substitute any nuts you lot have on hand. Macadamia nuts would exist delicious every bit they have a buttery flavor.
  • flour – coconut flour is absorb and I like using it as the first breading, but you lot can substitute almond or cashew flour as well. You lot just might need a fiddling more the suggested amount.
  • spices – you can omit the cayenne if you don't want them likewise spicy
